Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture
- 4–6 years of professional experience in high-quality architectural projects
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating both conceptual clarity and technical resolution
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (essential), plus Rhino, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
- Proven experience across multiple project stages, from concept to delivery
- Solid understanding of construction systems, detailing, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience working in multidisciplinary, international teams
- Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and contribute to small team leadership
- Fluency in English required; additional languages advantageous
- Professional experience in Spain is highly valued
- A portfolio showcasing both design excellence and technical delivery is required.

Job Description
AECOM Buildings and Places is seeking a highly motivated and design-driven Architect to join our Madrid office. This is an opportunity to work at a high level within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to ambitious international projects from early concept through to technical delivery.
The ideal candidate combines strong conceptual thinking with solid technical expertise, capable of translating design intent into well-resolved, buildable solutions. Working closely with a Project Lead, you will take an active role in design development, BIM production, and coordination across disciplines, ensuring high-quality outputs under demanding timelines.
You will contribute to design proposals, detailed documentation, and consultant coordination, while actively participating in reviews, presentations, and decision-making processes. A proactive attitude, precision, and the ability to operate confidently within complex project environments are essential.
