The Director of Strategy and Planning will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust OKR framework that aligns all departments with the company's strategic goals. This role will work closely with C-level executives and department heads to ensure that goals are effectively set, tracked, and adjusted, creating a unified direction for the organization. Director of Strategy & Planning will serve as the "architect of efficiency" for our global operations. This person will be the primary navigator for the company's strategic roadmap, ensuring that our vision is translated into actionable, measurable, and highly structured plans.

We are looking for a "Human-Algorithm": someone who thinks in logic, structures, and processes, but possesses the high emotional intelligence (EQ) required to influence the Board and senior leadership. You will bridge the gap between high-level ambition and operational execution within the iGaming ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with C-level executives and department heads to define and refine the company's strategic objectives
• Ensure alignment with the overall vision across all departments
• Provide direction across departments to cascade high-level goals effectively
• Offer guidance and support to maintain cohesive, aligned objectives throughout the organization
• Design a clear, standardized goal-setting framework across all departments. Implement templates, guidelines, and review timelines for consistency
• Build and oversee a reporting system to track progress on key goals
• Deliver regular updates, insights, and recommendations to executives based on tracked performance. Lead change management initiatives to support framework adoption across the organization
• Conduct workshops to reinforce continuous alignment and effectiveness in goal-setting and performance tracking

Requirements

• 7+ years in strategic planning, management consulting, or operational leadership, with at least 3-5 years specifically within the iGaming sector
• Significant experience in strategic planning, operations management, or performance management, ideally in a large organization with multiple departments and reporting layers
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing OKR frameworks, particularly in complex and large-scale settings
• Proficiency in setting and interpreting performance metrics and turning data into actionable insights for leadership
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and financial modeling
• Structured mind. You see patterns where others see chaos and can create frameworks for any business challenge
• Being a master of interpersonal communication. You know how to tailor your message for a developer, a marketing lead, or a Board member to achieve the desired outcome
• Exceptional English (written and verbal). Ability to articulate complex ideas simply
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Spain
