Requirements
What is important for the role:
At least 8 years’ experience in similar positions managing suppliers and leather development
Deep technical knowledge about leather
Advanced Spanish and English skills (Italian and/or French will be a plus)
Advanced knowledge of Excel (PLM software will be a plus)

As Leather Development & Purchasing Manager, you will negotiate best leather prices, industrialize leathers, countertype main articles. This position is the main leather referent for Leather Goods leather articles in production.
Your role will be:
- Industrial development according to Loewe's quality requirements
- Coordination with Leather Goods Artisans/Modelists
- Testing process management and Master validation according to the Loewe's Quality standards
- PLM information system upload with materials technical characteristics
- Time management of the industrial development in order to meet Production deadlines
- Negotiation with suppliers: business terms and conditions, LVMH's contractual requirements, prices, production lead times and development lead times
- Proactive risk analysis set up and quality problem solving with suppliers
- Countertypeing of materials management
- Supplier Creation Requirements & documents fill out
