​​The Fabric Data Engineering Experience & Infrastructure team is hiring to help build world best Data Engineering and Data Science platform. You will help implement advanced capabilities designed to help Data Engineers and Data Scientists to achieve more through Microsoft Fabric.

​​As an engineer manager, you will have the opportunity to work on the latest technology in big data areas, and build world class Big Data Analytics experience for cloud customers:

• Design and develop world-class experience for new big data cloud offering
  
• Plan, schedule and deliver quality software incrementally
  
• Review changes to product codebase and provide constructive feedback that align with industry best practices
  
• Maintain and operate cloud online services
  
• Passion and experience for building great developer experience and user experience of modern analytics systems

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• ​​Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND substantial experience in industry software engineering experience
• Proven experience in programming experience in frontend
  • OR equivalent experience

Other & Additional:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in web applications, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS and at least one popular web frontend framework like Angular/React/Vue or equivalent
• Passion on delivering modern high-performance user experience in both browser and desktop
• Experience with buidling on top of cloud platform like Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
• Experience with AI for analytics
