What You Will Do

Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

• Design, develop, test, document, refactor and maintain software components and applications using agreed engineering practices and patterns.

• Produce and communicate design artifacts; evaluate alternatives and lead design/code reviews.

• Build and maintain system integrations, deployment configurations and reliable release processes.

• Contribute to data pipelines and stores, ensure data security and reliability, and design user-facing data visualisations.

• Define and execute manual and automated tests, create test plans and acceptance criteria, and report results and risks.

What You Must have

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience. Cloud, Agile or testing certifications are a plus

• Extensive industrial software development experience with strong C# (.NET Framework 4.8, .NET Standard, .NET Core), SQL (MS SQL Server), and Git

• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development, inversion of control, multitasking applications, and serial/TCP-IP protocol development

• Experience with cloud technologies (preferably Microsoft Azure), serverless architectures, and CI/CD processes and tools

• Ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgment, and escalate appropriately

• Strong stakeholder collaboration, problem-solving skills and effective written/verbal English communication
