Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to demonstrate practical solutions.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to work and communicate comfortably in an international environment.
- Knowledge of: html, xml, DOM, xpath.
- You're not afraid of adapting, learning and working with different languages and frameworks.
- Ability to solve programming problems, with an understanding of the impact of solutions in terms of algorithmic time and space complexity.
- Collaborative working style, involving colleagues in important decisions and contributing to a culture of shared code ownership.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Python 3
- Experience or familiarity with Java and tools/frameworks such as Spring, Scrapy, Scrapyd, and WebHarvest.

Job Description
For our Barcelona office, our Engineering team is looking for a Junior Back-end Developer who is eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do
- Work with a talented team of engineers in data acquisition (scrape, process, validate and fix huge amount of data).
- Maintain and create parts of a scraping platform
- Take part in the modernization of a long-running platform, helping transform and improve a system that has supported our products for years.
