👨About the Position🛰️
As an Assembly Technician at Arkadia, you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly and integration of our propulsion systems and components within the company's Assembly & Integration (A&I) area.
This position plays a central role in Arkadia's commercialization roadmap. Your core mission will be to execute mechanical, fluidic and electrical assemblies according to established procedures, ensuring quality, repeatability and compliance with company and project requirements.
In parallel, you will contribute to structuring and consolidating the A&I area. This includes refining workflows and procedures, and identifying, specifying and supporting the procurement of the tooling, fixtures and equipment necessary to perform integration activities safely and efficiently.
Working at the interface between design, production, test and quality, you will translate engineering documentation into robust, repeatable propulsion systems and components, while helping establish a reliable and scalable assembly environment.
What you'll be doing
- Execute mechanical, fluidic and electrical integration of propulsion systems and components (e.g., thrusters, tanks, valves, control units, sensors) according to established procedures
- Interpret and apply assembly documentation, drawings and integration plans
- Contribute to the implementation of the Assembly & Integration area, including definition of the required equipment and tooling
- Ensure proper handling, cleanliness and configuration control of flight hardware
- Coordinate with Development, Testing and Quality during integration campaigns
- Support the transition from development prototypes to recurring production assemblies
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements in processes and workflows
- Close collaboration with Quality department to ensure compliance with internal quality standards, procedures and applicable requirements
What we're looking for
Technical degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in Assembly & Integration of aerospace or complex multi-disciplinary systems
Strong understanding of:
Mechanical assembly of precision hardware
Pressurized fluid systems and fittings
Electrical connections and harness routing/integration
Cleanliness and contamination control practices
Configuration and quality control during hardware integration
Hands-on skills with proven experience in mechanical and/or pressure fluid systems
Solid experience working in structured assembly environments with defined procedures
Experience with assembly planning and process definition, documentation and reports creation, process tracking and quality control
Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Structured, rigorous and quality-oriented approach
High level of autonomy and accountability
Advanced English (spoken and written)
Nice to have
Experience with propulsion systems (monopropellant or bipropellant)
Experience in aerospace production or recurring assembly environments
Experience defining workshop layouts or assembly workflows
Experience with tooling or equipment definition and procurement
Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred)
Spanish is a plus
