Join our Scalable Core team as a Backend Software Engineer, where you will immerse yourself in designing and implementing robust backend services using C# and .NET.!

Imagine collaborating with multi-functional teams to seamlessly integrate your microservices into the Software Factory framework, while optimizing deployments across cloud and edge environments. You will ensure that your code adheres to our high standards of quality, security, and compliance.

By demonstrating CI/CD pipelines, you will streamline development workflows and conduct automated testing to maintain reliability.

Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the rapid growth of Siemens Energy's digital portfolio, empowering us to deliver scalable and intelligent energy management solutions.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable backend services using C# and .NET within a microservices architecture.
  • Ensure seamless integration of backend services with the overall Software Factory infrastructure and other Siemens Energy systems.
  • Apply CI/CD technologies to automate the deployment process, enhancing efficiency and reliability across multiple environments.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and stability of backend applications.
  • Manage and deploy services on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes, ensuring robust and flexible infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to proactively manage service performance and reliability.

What You Bring

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years as a software engineer with at least 3 years focused on backend development.
  • Demonstrable expertise in delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable microservices-based applications using C# and .NET. Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD solutions such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, and experience with Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying applications in cloud environments.
  • Strong teammate with superb communication skills, capable of engaging with collaborators to understand requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
