The Role...

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team at Soho Farmhouse Ibiza. As a Bartender with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact. Your main responsibilities are serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food (when needed) and providing excellent service to members, creating memorable experiences. Other duties include mixing cocktails, preparing the bar for service and ensuring it is in pristine condition.

• Create a welcoming environment for members and guests when they approach the bar.
• Fulfilling members' drinks orders accurately and promptly. 
• Enquiring about any allergy or dietary requirements, ensuring you follow our allergy procedure . 
• Verifying the age of guests checking identification if necessary.  
• Possess a strong understanding of the drinks menu in order to make recommendations on pairings and any other specific member requests.
• Enquiring if the members are satisfied with food or drink and asking if they need anything else. Accommodating special requests where possible to creative a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.
• Perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.
• Working alongside the barbacks to ensure the bar is stocked up.
• Maintain a spotless and pristine working environment. 
• Providing members with the bill and processing payment via card or utilising the SHApp and House Pay.
• Attending regular trainings and briefings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings.  
• Running drinks for the bar to the tables when needed. 
• Resolve member complaints, handling all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. 
• Take action in all matters related to safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of employees and members.
• Assure the proper handling of VIPs and PWKs, protecting their privacy and confidentiality.
• Supporting the team with any of their needs on an ad-hoc basis
• Ensure that you follow and implement the standard operating procedures in your site

What we are looking for in a bartender?..

A successful Bartender for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You will have strong knowledge of classic cocktails and have experience preparing cocktails and serving in a fast-paced environment. You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.

• Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
• Min. 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile bar
• Experience and knowledge of classic cocktails
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent customer service
• Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Sense of urgency
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction
• Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required
• Good English and spanish language skills

Physical Requirements..

• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
• Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
• Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
