Requirements

Master's degree Aircraft Engineering or equivalent.
5 years' experience working in an Engineering environment in CAMO.
EASA Part66 CAT C or B1 is a plus.
A320 experience, Level 3 course desirable.
CFM Training.
Experienced in working with AIRBUS manuals and data sources.
Fluent in Spanish and English is essential.
Good knowledge of EASA regulations.
Previous experience within a EASA-OPS approved organization and familiarity with EASA Part M requirements.
Experience in dealing with AESA and EASA on airworthiness matters.

Hello! We are Volotea, the airline of small and mid-sized cities in Europe.

As a Power Plant Manager, you will lead the technical management of the airline's engines and APUs, ensuring their safety, reliability and airworthiness while optimizing maintenance, costs and fleet availability.

How will it be to work with us?
  • Support the Technical Director in the oversight and management of the company's engine fleet, including the development and execution of the Engine Removal Plan in coordination with CAMO.

  • Manage engine shop visits, including workscope definition, SV follow up, cost control and forecasting, and maintenance claim administration.

  • Manage technical and contractual relationships with aircraft lessors, ensuring compliance with lease agreement obligations for engines and APUs.

  • Ensure adequate spare engine availability to support fleet operations and future growth.

  • Provide technical support and engineering guidance to the Technical Director, Maintenance Manager, MCC, and STP.

  • To provide approved data and repair instruction from the Type Certificate Holder in order to support maintenance execution.

  • Support in the analysis of the effectiveness of the maintenance program. Ensure that the applied modifications or repairs have been approved in accordance with Annex (Part 21) to Regulation (EC) No 1194/2009.

  • Issue Engineering Orders and Engineering Bulletins to support continued airworthiness.

  • Support aircraft phase-ins, phase-outs, and end-of-lease transitions, including the review of lease agreement contractual requirements, ensuring aircraft compliance and minimizing financial exposure.
