We're hiring a hands-on Product Lead to own our data platform, API, and core products end-to-end.

You will define product direction, make prioritization decisions, and drive execution, ensuring what we build delivers clear client and business value.

You'll align engineering, design, and commercial teams around focused, high-impact outcomes, making trade-offs in a complex environment.

This role combines strategy and execution:

• Own and prioritize the product roadmap
• Define API and data product strategy (datasets, delivery, quality)
• Drive evolution of core and legacy products
• Translate business needs into clear product decisions and requirements
• Lead backlog, sprints, and delivery with engineering
• Align closely with Sales and Client teams to integrate real feedback

You are accountable not just for delivery, but for what gets built and why.

Product strategy

• Define and drive the product vision, translating business goals and client needs into a clear, prioritised roadmap
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform thinking, avoiding unnecessary product or technical debt
• Act as the product voice in company decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Platform (FocusAnalytics)

• Own the roadmap across key product areas (insights, dashboards, databank)
• Improve how data is presented, accessed, and used by clients
• Ensure consistency across content, data, and user experience

API & data products

• Define and drive API and data product strategy (datasets, formats, quality)
• Translate client and market needs into clear product specifications
• Identify gaps in data or delivery that represent commercial opportunities
• Act as the key link between commercial and engineering teams

Delivery & execution

• Own backlog and prioritisation, turning strategy into clear requirements
• Work closely with engineering to plan and deliver effectively
• Lead Agile processes and continuously improve team delivery

Team & stakeholders

• Lead and mentor a small team
• Ensure client feedback is captured and reflected in the roadmap
• Collaborate across product, engineering, and commercial teams

• 3+ years of experience working with B2B data products or analytics platforms
• Proven product management experience in digital data, analytics, or subscription-based products
• Experience working across product, engineering, and commercial teams
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and experience managing backlog and delivery
• Ability to write clear, developer-ready product requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to have

• Background in macroeconomics or experience working with economic/financial data
• Experience with APIs or structured data products
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Figma
