Company History
Mondragon Corporation was founded in 1956 in the town of Mondragón, Basque Country, by José María Arizmendiarrieta, a Catholic priest, who aimed to promote social and economic development through cooperatives. Initially starting as a small co-op (Talleres Arrasate), the group expanded rapidly into industrial and financial sectors, incorporating banks, retail, and manufacturing, and growing into the premier global example of worker cooperatives over the following decades.

- The group has opened a number of training and development opportunities for recent graduates and interns, such as the 'Plantilla Prácticas/Proyectos' role currently open, which may be a good entry point for international candidates.
- Mondragon promotes the Basque culture and language, and some knowledge of Basque language might be beneficial, but additional languages like English and Spanish are commonly used in daily operations, particularly for intern roles.
