BIM ARCHITECT - CONSTRUCTION DETAILING

Bofill Taller de Arquitectura is looking for experienced BIM Architects specialized in Construction Detailing and Technical Development to join our international project teams at La Fàbrica, Barcelona.

We are seeking qualified Architects with strong Revit skills and proven experience developing architectural construction details at all scales, from building envelopes and structural interfaces to interior architecture, joinery and bespoke furniture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop architectural BIM models and construction documentation using Revit.

• Produce and coordinate construction details across different architectural scales.

• Develop building envelopes, façades, roofs, waterproofing systems and material junctions.

• Detail interior architecture, staircases, joinery, built-in furniture and bespoke architectural elements.

• Create and manage Revit families and complex architectural components.

• Coordinate technical solutions with structure, MEP, façade and specialist consultants.

• Ensure constructability, material consistency and technical quality.

• Work collaboratively through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

PROFILE

• Degree in Architecture required.

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience, preferably within architecture practices.

• Advanced knowledge of Revit and construction documentation.

• Proven experience developing construction details at multiple scales, from 1:50 to 1:5 or 1:1.

• Strong understanding of construction systems, materials, façades, interiors and bespoke furniture.

• Proven experience working with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

• Experience in large-scale international projects is highly valued.

• Knowledge of Enscape, Lumion or equivalent visualization software.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Immediate availability preferred.

SELECTION PROCESS

Candidates will complete a practical Revit assessment to evaluate their technical skills and determine the appropriate position within the BIM team, including BIM Modeler, BIM Architect or BIM Coordinator.
