What's the Opportunity?
About the OTC Product The OTC (Over-the-Counter) platform at dLocal is a critical infrastructure for enabling FX conversion and fund movement at scale. It supports merchants and internal treasury operations by providing a structured, compliant, and efficient channel for executing currency conversions outside of traditional exchange mechanisms. As dLocal continues to expand across emerging markets, the OTC platform plays a central role in ensuring competitive FX rates, regulatory compliance, and a seamless merchant experience-from quote to settlement.
Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and execution of dLocal's OTC platform-both its internal operations and its merchant-facing experience. You will be responsible for the full OTC lifecycle: from rate discovery and quote management, to deal execution, compliance controls, and reporting. This role requires close collaboration with Treasury, Compliance, Finance, Engineering, and merchant-facing teams to build a platform that is scalable, transparent, and trusted. What will I be doing?
-
Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the OTC platform, aligning with company goals, treasury needs, and merchant expectations.
-
Own the end-to-end OTC experience: from FX quote requests and rate management, to deal execution, fund movement, and post-trade reporting.
-
Partner with Treasury to incorporate operational inputs into product design, ensuring the platform supports efficient liquidity management and FX execution workflows.
-
Collaborate with Compliance to ensure OTC flows meet local and cross-border regulatory requirements, including KYC/AML controls, transaction reporting, and documentation standards.
-
Work with Finance to deliver accurate, automated reconciliation and reporting capabilities that support auditability and operational oversight.
-
Engage with merchant-facing teams to understand pain points and deliver a clear, self-service OTC experience-including dashboards, deal history, and rate transparency.
-
Define and monitor key performance metrics (e.g., quote-to-deal conversion, execution time, FX spread, error rates), driving continuous platform improvement.
-
Lead the development of APIs and tooling that allow merchants and internal teams to interact with the OTC platform programmatically and at scale.
-
Stay current on FX market practices, regulatory developments, and emerging payment infrastructure in the markets where dLocal operates.
