Currently, we are looking to incorporate a specialist in the operational coordination of the branch and workshop located in Palencia. This role ensures the correct planning, programming, and execution of tasks, customer service and quality, and the efficient management of resources (machinery, spare parts, and workshop personnel), guaranteeing quality, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout the operation.

What you'll do

DUTIES:

One of your responsibilities is to ensure the operability of the branch and workshop, provide quality customer service, and collaborate in the management and coordination of the team:

Customer Service:

  • Respond to customer needs, providing quality service in accordance with Alayan's standards
  • Take orders made at the counter
  • Advise and respond to customer information requests
  • Prepare quotes/estimates and rental contracts
  • Provide information about machine applications and usage tips
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements in all work performed
  • Coordinate work with customers
  • Verify the quality of work performed

Operations / Workshop:

  • Planning, preparation, and scheduling of area tasks using the maintenance management system
  • Adjust the program in response to changes in execution conditions
  • Control workshop costs through proper execution and productivity improvement
  • Deliver and receive machines, completing the necessary documentation
  • Organize the transport of machines and manage spare parts orders

Ensure the good condition of the facilities in terms of order and cleanliness, and control of workshop spare parts and equipment, guaranteeing their availability.

Team:

  • Execution and implementation of initiatives requested by the organization through the hierarchical line
  • Focus on continuous improvement of tasks through analysis of failures and improvements in machinery reliability
  • Assist and replace the branch manager in case of absence
  • Always keep the "Fleet Planner" of CDRS up to date
  • Collaborate in the management of the different schedules of the workshop personnel

REQUIREMENTS

  • Vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or electronics, or demonstrable work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic, team leader, or workshop manager
  • Experience in the machinery rental or sales sector
  • Knowledge of MS Office at user level
  • Experience with ERP, preferably Business Central (Navision)
  • Ability for interpersonal relationships and social skills
  • Own vehicle to travel to the facilities
