At Gi Group, we are looking for a Shift Supervisor for one of our clients - a leading company in the marketing of metal products and materials, distributed nationwide to clients from various sectors.

We are seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Warehouse department, with a technical and highly operational profile, as well as problem-solving skills and the ability to lead teams.

The position reports to the Logistics Manager and will have a team of 15 to 20 people (receiving and preparation operators) under their supervision.

Main responsibilities

Ensure that staff are properly trained before starting activities.

Ensure proper storage of products.

Guarantee that orders are prepared correctly and within productivity standards.

Ensure that returns are processed correctly.

Verify that all processes are properly documented.

Ensure production meets quality standards.

Organize staff distribution and rotation according to shift needs.

Resolve incidents that halt production or affect quality.

Report any serious deviations from planned standards.

Report maintenance issues.

Ensure proper waste management: always in containers, never on the floor.

Environmental responsibilities: segregate waste, report environmental incidents, and ensure efficient resource use.
