Insulation Fabricator/Fitter (Permanent Contract)

• Fabricate insulation ducts in the workshop using materials such as galvanized sheet metal, fiberglass, stainless steel, aluminum, and rock wool.
• Operate specific forming machinery such as folding machines, welding equipment, and other sheet metal transformation techniques.
• Interpret technical drawings for the correct cutting and preparation of metal and insulating material.
• Carry out the assembly and subsequent adjustment of parts and ducts directly at client construction sites and industries throughout Asturias.
• Handling of Prefabricated Items: Fitting and placement of pipe sections, blankets, and prefabricated metal or sheet metal covers for insulation protection.
• Auxiliary Work: Installation of supports and sealing of joints to ensure thermal tightness.
• Education: Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training (FP) in Mechanical Manufacturing, Welding and Boilermaking, or similar (highly valued).
• Health and Safety Training (PRL): 20 hours per trade agreement (preferably HVAC and plumbing) or 60 hours of basic PRL.
• Experience: Demonstrable prior experience working both in a sheet metal/boilermaking workshop environment and on industrial sites.
• Essential handling of folding machines, welding techniques, sheet metal cutting, and manipulation of insulating materials (rock wool, fiber).
• Permanent contract.
• Salary ranging between 25,000 and 28,000 euros gross per year, depending on prior experience.
• Schedule Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 18:00, with a break from 13:00 to 14:00 for lunch.
• Schedule Friday: 08:00 to 13:00 (one extra hour is worked Monday through Thursday to leave earlier on Friday).
• Overtime: Possibility of working overtime on site visits.

- Fabricar en taller conductos de aislamiento utilizando materiales como chapa galvanizada, fibra de vidrio, acero inoxidable, aluminio y lana de roca.
- Operar maquinaria específica de conformado como plegadoras, equipos de soldadura y otras técnicas de transformación de chapa.
- Interpretar planos técnicos para el correcto despiece y preparación del material metálico e isolante.
- Realizar el montaje y ajuste posterior de las piezas y conductos directamente en las obras e industrias clientes por toda Asturias.
- Manejo de Prefabricados: Ajuste y colocación de coquillas, mantas y prefabricados metálicos o de chapa para la protección del aislamiento.
- Trabajos Auxiliares: Instalación de soportes y sellado de juntas para garantizar la estanqueidad térmica.

- Formación: FP de Grado Medio o Superior en Fabricación Mecánica, Soldadura y Calderería, o similar (muy valorable).
- Formación en PRL (20 horas de convenio de un oficio, preferiblemente el de climatización y fontanería) o 60 horas PRL básico.
- Experiencia: Experiencia previa demostrable trabajando tanto en entorno de taller de chapa/calderería como en obra industrial.
- Manejo indispensable de plegadoras, técnicas de soldadura, corte de chapa y manipulación de materiales aislantes (lana de roca, fibra).

- Contrato indefinido.
- Salario con rango entre 25.000 y 28.000 euros brutos anuales, según experiencia previa.
- Horario de Lunes a Jueves: con entrada a las 08:00 a 18:00, con parón de 13:00 a 14:00 para comer.
- Horario de Viernes: 08:00 a 13:00 (se hace una hora de más de lunes a jueves para salir antes el viernes).
- Horas Extra: Posibilidad de realizar horas extra en salidas a obra.
