Job Description

Are you passionate about precision mechanics and do you enjoy artisanal, custom work? Are you motivated by tackling complex blueprints and bringing unique pieces to life from scratch? At Randstad, we are looking for talent like yours.

We are seeking a true Manual Turner with the trade ingrained in their hands—someone capable of providing creative solutions in the workshop and seeking the stability of a long-term project. If you want to leverage your experience in an environment that respects and rewards traditional technical knowledge, this is your opportunity!

As the selected Manual Turner, your primary mission will be the autonomous manufacture of mechanical components, ensuring the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Interpretation and reading of advanced technical blueprints for the execution of pieces from scratch.

Preparation, calibration, and expert handling of a manual lathe for the machining of single pieces and very short series.

Performing complex machining operations, with mastery of manual and machine threading techniques being essential.

To successfully fit into this Manual Turner position, we do not look at your academic degrees, but rather at your actual skill in the workshop. We are looking for a senior profile who brings:

Solid, proven, and demonstrable experience working in machining workshops with conventional or manual lathes.

Total autonomy to work without constant supervision, being capable of structuring the work process from the receipt of the blueprint to the finishing of the piece.

Specific technical skill in creating threads and deep-hole work on internal diameters.

Gross Annual Salary (GAS): Competitive remuneration between €24,000 and €30,000 gross per year, negotiable based on the experience and value provided by the worker.

Professional development: Joining a stable project that features an internal career plan and a guaranteed salary review to reward your evolution and commitment in the workshop.

Working hours: Split shift from 8:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 17:00.

Absolute stability: Direct hiring by the company from the first day.
