Job Description

At Talgo, we are dedicated to revolutionizing rail transport with innovative products ranging from very high-speed trains to regional and commuter solutions.

Our trains are characterized by being sustainable, safe, and high-quality. This versatility allows our trains to cross the Saudi Arabian desert at 300 km/h or traverse countries with extreme temperatures as low as -45º in Kazakhstan.

What will your internship consist of?

You will integrate into Talgo's Configuration Management area, a key department in complex railway projects, where work is done to maintain product consistency and traceability throughout its entire life cycle.

You will be part of a technical team that acts as the "map" of the train, ensuring that all parts, systems, versions, and changes are correctly identified, documented, and controlled from design to maintenance.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with different engineering and manufacturing areas, learning and developing functions such as:

  • Ensuring product consistency throughout its life cycle, identifying the train configuration and tracking changes.
  • Designing and maintaining the variability tree and project structure, ensuring a clear and organized view of all components.
  • Identifying key configuration elements, defining traceability requirements for efficient management aligned with project objectives.
  • Providing support in the proactive management of configuration and baselines, adapting control to each project phase and its validation strategy.
  • Participating in the strategic management of obsolescence, applying proactive and reactive approaches to minimize risks and ensure operational continuity.

What we are looking for in you

  • Undergraduate or Master's student in Engineering (preferably Industrial), with the ability to sign an agreement with the University.
  • High level of English, both spoken and written.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, charts, macros) will be valued.
  • A meticulous, organized person with analytical capacity and a desire to learn in a highly specialized technical environment.

What do we offer you at Talgo?

  • Paid internship with a collaboration agreement.
  • Morning schedule, adaptable to your academic needs.
  • Participation in real projects and the management of products with high technological complexity.
  • A professional growth environment, with direct learning from railway sector specialists.
  • A collaborative, technical, and multicultural work environment.

We believe in talent and diversity, and therefore, at Talgo we work to maintain an environment based on equal opportunity and non-discrimination, fostering that diversity within our teams.

Your work will have a real impact on the mobility of millions of people worldwide!
