Middleware WEB Administrator

ABOUT THE JOB

The "Infrastructure" Domain is part of the Corporate & Institutional Banking Information Technology & Operations (CIB ITO) of BNP Paribas, it is in charge to manage a key part of the infrastructure such the core of the servers, databases, storage, backup, middleware, citrix farms, and hypervisor for virtual infrastructure.

Within this domain, Middleware WEB administration has a relevant role to contribute to keeping the high availability environments performant and running to ensure WEB applications are always available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is focus on the management of WEB products for all CIB countries offering assistance to all regions as part of Follow the Sun support model.
• Due to large number of products to manage and the high number of servers where they are deployed worldwide, to be able to build and manage automations is a key point.
• Vulnerability and obsolescence remediation, proactive improvements and action plan for incidents are part of the day to day of this position.
• To work following ITIL methodology is part of the daily basis in this and the rest of IT areas.

PROFILE & SKILLS

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferable).
• Possess 3-5 years of expertise in WEB technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, WAS, or Weblogic.
• Demonstrate experience working in high availability environments.
• Show advanced user skills in Linux environments.
• Communicate fluently in English (B2/C) (Mandatory).
• ITIL Foundation certificate (desirable).
• French language skills (highly valued).
