El puesto

At Greenvolt Power, we are seeking an O&M Contract Manager, who will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of O&M contracts across Greenvolt Power's utility-scale renewable energy assets, ensuring that all contracts are structured, executed, and governed in a way that ensures operational performance, manages risk, and delivers value across the portfolio

The role manages the RFP and tendering process for O&M contracts, coordinating inputs from Asset Management, Technical Services, Legal, and Finance to ensure contracts reflect operational standards, performance requirements, and commercial objectives. The O&M Contracts Management defines and monitors contractor KPI and SLA frameworks, tracks contractual compliance, and coordinates contract renewals, variations, and escalations across the portfolio.

The O&M Contract Manager works closely with the O&M Strategy & Best Practices Analyst and Asset Managers to ensure that contract terms, KPI frameworks, and contractor governance are fully aligned with O&M standards and operational requirements across all geographies and asset types.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the full lifecycle of O&M contracts across the portfolio, from initial scoping and tendering through execution, performance monitoring, renewal, and termination.
  • Maintain a comprehensive contract register for all O&M and auxiliary service contracts across the portfolio, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times.
  • Track contract expiry dates, renewal milestones, and key contractual obligations, proactively initiating renewal or re-tendering processes within defined timelines.
  • Coordinate contract variations, amendments, and escalations, ensuring changes are documented, approved, and reflected in the contract register.
  • Ensure all contractual documentation is properly filed, version-controlled, and accessible to relevant internal stakeholders.

RFP & Tendering Process

  • Manage the RFP and tendering process for O&M contracts, coordinating inputs from Asset Management, Technical Services, Legal, and Finance.
  • Develop RFP documentation, technical specifications, and evaluation criteria, ensuring alignment with O&M standards and operational requirements defined by the O&M Strategy & Best Practices team.
  • Manage the tender evaluation process, coordinating technical, commercial, and contractual assessments across internal stakeholders.
  • Support contract negotiations, coordinating with Legal and Finance to ensure final contract terms reflect operational, commercial, and risk management objectives.
  • Maintain a qualified contractor database, tracking market developments, contractor capabilities, and pricing benchmarks across geographies.

Contractor KPI & Performance Governance

  • Define, implement, and maintain contractor KPI and SLA frameworks across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with O&M standards and performance objectives.
  • Monitor contractor performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs on an ongoing basis, identifying deviations and coordinating corrective actions with Asset Managers.
  • Support the development of contractor performance improvement plans where required, tracking implementation and outcomes.

Contract Compliance & Risk Management

  • Monitor contractual compliance across all active O&M contracts, identifying potential breaches, risks, and areas of non-compliance.
  • Track warranty obligations, guarantee periods, and liability provisions across contracts, ensuring these are actively managed and enforced where applicable.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Asset Management to manage contractual disputes, claims, and escalations in a timely and structured manner.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance

  • Work closely with the O&M Strategy & Best Practices Analyst to ensure contract terms, KPI frameworks, and RFP specifications are aligned with O&M standards and maintenance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Asset Managers to incorporate operational feedback and site-level experience into contract management and tendering processes.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams throughout the contract lifecycle to ensure compliance and effective governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or a related role in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing O&M or service contracts for utility-scale renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, BESS, or other energy infrastructure, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with RFP and tendering processes, including technical and commercial evaluation.
  • Knowledge of contractor KPI frameworks, SLA structures, and performance governance in the energy or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of contract management principles, procurement processes, and contractual risk management.
  • Good technical knowledge of renewable energy operations and O&M requirements to engage effectively with Asset Managers and Technical Services teams.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and procurement processes simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
