As a Sales Specialist for Design Solutions within the Industrial Adhesives and Tapes division in France and Spain, you will have the opportunity to leverage your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in the world.

Here, you will make an impact:

• Leading technical specification activities ("design-in") within customer R&D centers to ensure the specification of 3M Adhesives and Tapes solutions in France and Spain
• Driving growth with a primary focus on automotive accounts, while also developing opportunities in other high-growth sub-segments (medical devices, robotics, energy storage, etc.)
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with R&D engineers, designers, and key decision-makers at OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, understanding their needs and proposing tailored design solutions
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the automotive sector and other high-growth sub-segments through account targeting, pipeline building, and technical specification selling
• Conducting competitive and technological market intelligence to stay informed of industry trends, technologies, market players, and application needs, in order to effectively position 3M design solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth technical integration and optimal support during the design, validation, and implementation phases of 3M adhesive solutions
• Achieving and exceeding commercial targets through effective management of the pipeline, projects, and CRM across the France and Spain territory
• Developing and enhancing your product knowledge and understanding of design principles to effectively promote 3M technologies and innovations in the adhesives and tapes field
• Presenting technical concepts and leading design workshops to influence specifications and demonstrate product benefits
• Participating in industry events, conferences, and customer innovation days to expand your network, identify opportunities, and generate leads
• Maintaining daily updates of CRM tools for design activities, projects, and commercial opportunities
• Collaborating with marketing, product development, and cross-functional teams to share customer feedback and contribute to the development of new solutions

To succeed in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Master's degree or engineering diploma (Bac+5) in engineering sciences (mechanical, materials, chemistry, or equivalent technical field)
• Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or application engineering within the automotive industry and/or relevant high-growth industrial segments
• Demonstrated experience in securing technical specification projects ("design-in") or validated specifications with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or comparable industrial customers
• Proven ability to develop business across multi-country territories, ideally including France and/or Spain
• Confirmed experience working with cross-functional teams (marketing, R&D, production, supply chain) to support the introduction of new products
• Strong knowledge of major automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and the broader automotive supply chain
• Knowledge of advanced materials, assembly solutions (adhesives and tapes), NVH, thermal management, lightweight structures, or related design engineering applications is an asset
• Experience or understanding of high-growth segments such as medical devices, robotics, energy storage, or industrial automation is an asset
• Experience in an international, innovation-driven environment
• Fluency in English as well as French or Spanish

• Job scope: France and Spain, with potential additional support for other Southern European markets in specific cases
• Travel: Up to 40% domestic and international travel

• Collaborant avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires afin de garantir une intégration technique fluide et un support optimal pendant les phases de conception, de validation et de mise en œuvre des solutions adhésives 3M
• Atteignant et dépassant les objectifs commerciaux grâce à une gestion efficace du pipeline, des projets et du CRM sur le territoire France et Espagne
• Développant et renforçant votre connaissance des produits et votre compréhension des principes de conception afin de promouvoir efficacement les technologies et innovations 3M dans le domaine des adhésifs et rubans
• Présentant des concepts techniques et animant des ateliers de conception afin d'influencer les spécifications et de démontrer les avantages des produits
• Participant à des événements sectoriels, des conférences et des journées d'innovation clients afin de développer votre réseau, identifier des opportunités et générer des leads
• Tenant à jour quotidiennement les outils CRM pour les activités de conception, les projets et les opportunités commerciales
• Collaborant avec les équipes marketing, développement produit et les équipes transversales afin de partager les retours clients et contribuer au développement de nouvelles solutions

Pour vous permettre de réussir dans ce rôle dès le premier jour, 3M recherche des candidats/candidates avec les qualifications suivantes :

• Bac+5 : diplôme d'ingénieur ou master en sciences d'ingénierie (mécanique, matériaux, chimie ou domaine technique équivalent)
• Expérience réussie en vente technique, développement commercial ou ingénierie d'application dans l'industrie automobile et/ou dans des segments industriels de croissance pertinents
• Expérience avérée dans l'obtention de projets de prescription (« design-in ») ou de spécifications validées auprès de constructeurs automobiles (OEM), d'équipementiers de rang 1 ou de clients industriels comparables
• Capacité démontrée à développer l'activité sur des territoires multi-pays, idéalement incluant la France et/ou l'Espagne
• Expérience confirmée de travail avec des équipes transversales (marketing, R&D, production, Supply Chain) pour soutenir l'introduction de nouveaux produits
• Bonne connaissance des principaux constructeurs automobiles, des équipementiers de rang 1 et de la chaîne d'approvisionnement automobile au sens large
• La connaissance des matériaux avancés, des solutions d'assemblage (adhésifs et rubans), du NVH, de la gestion thermique, des structures allégées ou d'applications connexes en ingénierie de conception est un atout
• Une expérience ou une compréhension des segments à forte croissance tels que les dispositifs médicaux, les drones, la robotique, le stockage de l'énergie ou l'automatisation industrielle est un atout
• Expérience dans un environnement international axé sur l'innovation
• Maîtrise de l'anglais ainsi que du français ou de l'espagnol

• Périmètre du poste : France et Espagne, avec un éventuel soutien complémentaire sur d'autres marchés d'Europe du Sud dans certains cas spécifiques
