Travel Agency Advertising Strategist

Summary

As a Travel Agency Advertising Strategist, you will manage a portfolio of travel industry clients, helping them achieve their marketing objectives through innovative advertising solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, creating strategic media plans, managing campaigns end-to-end, optimizing performance, and building strong customer relationships that drive retention and growth. This is a highly collaborative and client-facing role that combines strategy, creativity, analytics, and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of travel industry clients, acting as their primary point of contact for advertising campaigns and performance discussions;
  • Create strategic media plans aligned with client objectives and business goals;
  • Deliver a seamless onboarding experience, including campaign setup, creative coordination, and launch activities;
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using reporting tools, performance metrics, ROAS, and market insights;
  • Conduct regular performance and strategy reviews, presenting results and recommending actions to maximize campaign success;
  • Develop creative campaign strategies, including advertising copy and visual assets, following industry best practices;
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, increase client value, and support retention efforts;
  • Coordinate campaign administration activities, including proposals, contracts, documentation, and system updates;
  • Lead renewal discussions and support the renewal process to maintain and grow customer relationships;
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, share knowledge, provide backup support when needed, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in advertising, media planning, campaign management, or a client-facing marketing role;
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences;
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance, budgets, ROAS, KPIs, and market trends;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging clients and stakeholders;
  • Organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proactive, creative, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability;
  • Experience in the travel, hospitality, or advertising industry is a plus.
