Geriatric Care Assistant - Nursing Assistant at Residential Care Center (Ballesol San Felices)

For this reason, we are looking to add a Geriatric Care Assistant to our Ballesol San Felices center who shares our vocation for care and support, contributing to the physical and emotional well-being of older adults.

What will your mission be?

To provide comprehensive care to residents, supporting them with respect, empathy, and warmth in their day-to-day lives. Your work is essential to ensuring the comfort, health, and dignity of older adults, working closely with the center's healthcare and multidisciplinary team.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Care for, accompany, and assist residents in their daily activities, always ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Collaborate in developing and supporting therapies, following the instructions of healthcare staff and the direct care team.
• Serve and assist with breakfasts, afternoon snacks, and other meals, as well as keep residents' personal belongings clean and in good condition.
• Accompany residents on walks and activities, and help them when getting into or out of bed, especially those with reduced mobility.
• Perform residents' personal hygiene.
• Carry out the necessary mobilizations to promote comfort and prevent complications arising from immobility.
• Report any incidents or changes in the resident's condition to the nursing or supervision team.

Care team

• Vocational training in Nursing Assistance, Vocational training in Social and Healthcare Support, or Professional Certificate (recognized qualification).
• Between 6 months and 1 year of experience in an elderly care residence.

¿Cuál será tu misión?

Ofrecer una atención integral a las personas residentes, acompañándolas con respeto, empatía y cercanía en su día a día. Tu labor es esencial para garantizar el confort, la salud y la dignidad de las personas mayores, colaborando estrechamente con el equipo sanitario y multidisciplinar del centro.

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES DEL PUESTO

• Cuidar, acompañar y asistir a las personas residentes en sus actividades diarias, procurando siempre su bienestar físico, emocional y social.
• Colaborar en el desarrollo y apoyo de terapias, siguiendo las indicaciones del personal sanitario y del equipo de atención directa.
• Servir y asistir en desayunos, meriendas y otras comidas, así como mantener limpios y en buen estado los enseres personales de los y las residentes.
• Acompañar en paseos y actividades, y ayudar a los y las residentes en el momento de acostarse o levantarse, especialmente a aquellos con movilidad reducida.
• Realizar la higiene personal de las personas residentes.
• Efectuar las movilizaciones necesarias para favorecer el confort y prevenir complicaciones derivadas de la inmovilidad.
• Comunicar cualquier incidencia o cambio en el estado del residente al equipo de enfermería o supervisión.

Equipo asistencial

• FP Auxiliar de Enfermería, FP Atención Sociosanitaria o Certificado de Profesionalidad (título homologado).
• Experiencia de entre 6 meses y 1 año en residencia de la Tercera Edad.
