For this reason, we are looking to hire a Caregiver at our Ballesol Vigo center who shares our vocation of care and support, contributing to the physical and emotional well-being of the elderly.

What will your mission be?

Provide comprehensive care to residents, accompanying them with respect, empathy, and warmth in their day-to-day lives. Your work is essential to ensuring the comfort, health, and dignity of the elderly, working closely with the center's healthcare and multidisciplinary team.

What you'll do

  • Care for, accompany, and assist residents in their daily activities, always seeking their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Collaborate in the development and support of therapies, following the instructions of the healthcare staff and the direct care team.
  • Serve and assist with breakfasts, afternoon snacks, and other meals, as well as keeping residents' personal belongings clean and in good condition.
  • Accompany residents on walks and activities, and help them when going to bed or getting up, especially those with reduced mobility.
  • Perform residents' personal hygiene.
  • Carry out the necessary mobilizations to promote comfort and prevent complications derived from immobility.
  • Communicate any incidents or changes in the resident's condition to the nursing or supervision team.

How you'll work

  • Full-time schedule in the morning shift (07:30 to 14:30) or afternoon shift (14:30 to 22:00) from Monday to Sunday with rotating days off.

Requirements

  • Vocational Training in Nursing Assistance, Vocational Training in Sociosanitary Care or Professional Certificate (homologated title).
  • Experience of between 6 months and 1 year in an Elderly Residence.
