Formulator I

The Formulator I is responsible for creating new formulas according to agreed product matrices using cost formulation software for all production runs at the plant, balancing sufficient technical constraints, formulation cost, and raw material usage according to the supply chain plan. The Formulator I will be key to serving our production plant with all relevant data and supporting our production facilities with all matters related to the product database, such as the bill of materials, labeling, and product documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Formulate and ensure products are manufactured according to applicable requirements and specifications.
• Update formulation software with available raw material data, retrieve relevant information from sources, and generate reports.
• Perform daily maintenance of formulas according to plant and customer needs.
• Process formulation documents according to defined procedures.
• Continuously develop knowledge of ingredients.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Support sales to understand and resolve basic customer inquiries following established processes.
• Other duties as assigned

El/La Formulador/a I es responsable de la creación de nuevas fórmulas de acuerdo con matrices de productos acordadas utilizando software de formulación de costos para todas las ejecuciones de producción en la fábrica, equilibrando las restricciones técnicas suficientes, el costo de formulación y el uso de la materia prima de acuerdo con el plan de la cadena de suministro. Formulator I será clave para servir a nuestra planta de producción con todos los datos relevantes y apoyar a nuestras instalaciones de producción con todos los temas relacionados con la base de datos de productos, como la lista de materiales, el etiquetado y la documentación del producto.

RESPONSABILIDADES CLAVE
• Formular y garantizar que los productos se fabrican de acuerdo con los requisitos y especificaciones aplicables.
• Actualice el software de formulación con los datos de materia prima disponibles, la recuperación de información de fuentes relevantes y la generación de informes.
• Mantenimiento diario de fórmulas siguiendo las necesidades de la planta y del cliente.
• Proceso de formulación de documentos de acuerdo con procedimientos definidos.
• Desarrollo continuo del conocimiento de los ingredientes
• Manejar los problemas básicos y los problemas bajo supervisión directa, mientras que la escalada de problemas más complejos para el personal adecuado.
• Dar soporte a ventas para comprender y resolver incidencias básicas de clientes siguiendo los procesos establecidos
• Otros deberes asignados
