Dining hall monitor (Espai Gràcia)

We are looking for a dining hall monitor to provide support during meals for elderly people, ensuring proper care, a good atmosphere, and the correct development of the dining service.

Previous experience working with elderly people and sensitivity to person-centered care are especially valued. The selected person will work in coordination with the Espai team.

Duties

• Dining hall preparation: Set up the tables according to the number of diners and prepare the necessary materials (water jugs, utensils, etc.).
• Receiving and checking food: Receive the food from the catering service, take and record temperatures, and verify orders.
• Stock control: Check available materials (sugar, oil, herbal teas, etc.) and report any shortages to the coordination team.
• Records and monitoring: verify and complete the daily records:
• Food temperature control
• Cleaning and incident log
• Cleanup and tidiness: Leave the dining hall cleaned and tidy once the service has ended:
• Dishwasher turned off, clean trays for the catering service, empty trash bins
• Leave the space ready for the following day
• Support, guidance, and assistance to volunteers.
• Support to participants, facilitation of activities, and ensuring their well-being.

Requirements

• Knowledge of person-centered care (ACP)
• Experience as a dining hall monitor
• Experience in activities and management within the framework of elderly care.

Salary: €566.86 gross / monthly

• Monday to Friday from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.
• Total hours: 12.5 hours

Busquem un monitor/a de menjador per donar suport durant l’àpat a persones grans, garantint una atenció adequada, un bon ambient i el correcte desenvolupament del servei de menjador.

Es valora especialment experiència prèvia en el treball amb gent gran i sensibilitat per l’atenció centrada en la persona. La persona seleccionada treballarà en coordinació amb l’equip de l’Espai.

Funcions

• Preparació del menjador: Muntar les taules segons el nombre de comensals i preparar el material necessari (gerres d’aigua, estris, etc.).
• Recepció i control del menjar: Rebre el menjar del càtering, prendre i registrar les temperatures, verificació de les comandes.
• Control d’estoc: Revisar el material disponible (sucre, oli, infusions, etc.) i comunicar possibles mancances a la coordinació.
• Registres i seguiment: verificar i complimentar els registres diaris:
• Control de temperatura del menjar
• Registre de neteja i d’incidències
• Recollida i ordre: Deixar el menjador recollit i ordenat en finalitzar el servei:
• Rentavaixelles apagat, safates netes per al càtering, brosses buides
• Deixar l’espai preparat per a l’endemà
• Acompanyament al voluntariat, orientació i suport.
• Acompanyament a les persones participants, dinamització, vetllar pel benestar.

Requisits

• Coneixements ACP
• Experiència com a monitora de menjador
• Experiència en dinamitzacions i gestions en el marc de l'atenció amb gent gran.

Sou: 566,86 bruts / mensuals
