SPA Therapist

🔔 We are offering a position as a Therapist to work at Amàre Hotels, adults-only hotels with an exciting combination of live music, exceptional gastronomy, and sophisticated design in prime seaside locations.

Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella is a hotel on the Costa del Sol, recommended for adults only, about a 5-minute walk from the historic center. With 236 rooms, every detail has been carefully designed to offer the most extraordinary vacation in Marbella.

You will be responsible for performing massage techniques according to the treatments offered on the SPA-WELLNESS Center menu, taking into account the client's diagnosis and needs, and complying with established standards, in line with the determined criteria for hygiene, safety, health, and quality.

Your day-to-day will start to sound like this...

• Ensure the achievement of established departmental goals, as well as compliance with critical processes and area setups, in accordance with the standards set by the hotel.

• Welcome the client and accommodate them in the assigned interior and/or exterior cabin to perform the selected treatment.

• Carry out a diagnosis of the client's needs, if necessary.

• Advise clients on possible massage techniques.

• Prepare the necessary items for giving massages and work equipment, keeping them in optimal working condition.

• Apply the different therapeutic massage techniques offered on the SPA-WELLNESS Center menu, according to the established protocol.

• Apply the work protocol defined at the SPA-WELLNESS Center.

• Carry out the marketing, sale, and upselling of products and treatments of the SPA-WELLNESS Center.

• Prepare, maintain, and care for the work areas of the SPA-WELLNESS Center.

• Handle possible complaints and/or suggestions received from clients, passing the information on to the immediate supervisor.

• Support the performance of other common functional tasks of the Center, such as: managing laundry, tidying cabins and changing rooms, opening and/or closing facilities, among other duties.

• Collaborate in the monitoring and compliance of the Operational Atmosphere Manual.

• Perform other duties within the scope of their responsibilities as requested by their direct supervisor.

• Comply with the quality, safety and health, environmental, and data protection standards established by the organization.

You are ideal for the position if...

🎓 Degree in Physiotherapy / Training in Massage Therapy / Intermediate or Advanced Degree in Comprehensive Aesthetics and Wellness and/or similar
Aesthetics training is valued

💼 Minimum 2 years of experience as a Therapist in SPA/Wellness Centers and/or Physiotherapy Centers. Experience as an Aesthetician is valued.

Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella es un hotel en la Costa del Sol, recomendado sólo para adultos, a unos 5 minutos andando del centro histórico. Con 236 habitaciones, cada detalle ha sido cuidadosamente diseñado para ofrecer las vacaciones más extraordinarias en Marbella.

Se encargará de realizar las técnicas de masaje según los tratamientos ofrecidos en la carta del Centro SPA-WELLNESS, teniendo en cuenta el diagnóstico y las necesidades del cliente, cumpliendo con los estándares establecidos, conforme a criterios de higiene, seguridad, salud y calidad determinados.

Tu día a día empezará a sonar así…

• Velar por la consecución de los objetivos departamentales establecidos, así como el cumplimiento de los procesos críticos y puestas en escena del área, de acuerdo con los estándares establecidos por el hotel.

• Recepcionar al cliente y acomodar en la cabina interior y/o exterior asignada para realizar el tratamiento seleccionado.

• Realizar diagnóstico de las necesidades del cliente, en caso de ser necesario.

• Asesorar a los clientes sobre las posibles técnicas de masaje.

• Preparar los elementos necesarios para dar masajes y equipos de trabajo, manteniéndolos en condiciones óptimas para su funcionamiento.

• Aplicar las diferentes técnicas de masaje terapéutico ofrecidas en la carta del Centro SPA-WELLNESS, según protocolo establecido.

• Aplicar el protocolo de trabajo definido en el Centro SPA-WELLNESS.

• Realizar la comercialización, venta y Upselling de productos y tratamientos del Centro SPA-WELLNESS.

• Preparar, mantener y cuidar las áreas de trabajo del Centro SPA-WELLNESS.

• Atender posibles reclamaciones y/o sugerencias recibidas por parte de clientes, trasladando la información a su superior inmediato.

• Apoyar en la realización de otras tareas funcionales comunes del Centro como: encargarse de la ropa de lavandería, ordenar las cabinas y vestuarios, realizar la apertura y/o cierre de instalaciones, entre otras labores.

• Colaborar en el seguimiento y cumplimiento del Manual de Ambientación Operacional.

• Realizar otras funciones que en el ámbito de sus competencias le sean solicitadas por su responsable directo.

• Cumplir con las normas de calidad, seguridad y salud, medioambiente y protección de datos, establecidos por la organización.

Eres ideal para el puesto si…

🎓 Diplomado en Fisioterapia/ Formación en Quiromasaje /Grado Medio / Superior Estética Integral y Bienestar y/o similar
Valorable formación en Estética

💼 Experiencia mínima de 2 años como Terapeuta en Centros de SPA/Wellness y/o Centros de Fisioterapia. Valorable experiencia como Esteticista
