Technical Architect (Building Engineer) (M/F/X) - Comprehensive Management of Building and Restoration Projects

About the opportunity

A leading architecture and engineering firm, with a solid track record in the development and execution of building, rehabilitation, and restoration projects, is looking to incorporate a Technical Architect (M/F/X) (Building Engineer) to strengthen its technical team.

The selected person will initially join the Restoration area, participating in projects with budgets between €100,000 and €1.5 million. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to collaborate in the future in other business lines of the company.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the execution of the works.
• Assume the Material Execution Management of the site.
• Prepare measurements and budgets.
• Perform economic control of projects, certifications, and cost tracking.
• Draft Basic Health and Safety Studies.
• Supervise the quality of the work and compliance with deadlines.
• Coordinate industrial contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage material purchases and control supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Coordinate with the project management, the owner, and other involved agents.
• Prepare technical reports and track incidents.
• Propose technical solutions during the different phases of the project.

Requirements

• Degree in Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management and execution.
• Experience in measurements, budgets, certifications, and economic control.
• Knowledge in the preparation of Basic Health and Safety Studies.
• Experience in Construction Execution Management.
• Ability to plan and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Negotiation and coordination skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in tools such as Presto, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office or similar.
• Experience in rehabilitation and heritage restoration projects will be valued.
