Internship in Stamping Process Engineering – Vehicle Industrialization

Internship description: We are looking for a student intern to join the Stamping Process Engineering team, actively participating in industrial projects related to the integration of new vehicles, the optimization of production processes, and the improvement of industrial performance.

What you will learn: Participation in industrialization projects and continuous improvement within the stamping scope:

• Collaboration in the development and launch of the industrial system for the integration of new vehicles in the stamping production process.
• Support in the preliminary project phase, working under a Design to Cost approach, monitoring cost reduction initiatives related to product/process modifications.
• Participation in the definition of quality, cost, and schedule requirements in industrialization projects.
• Support in the definition, validation, and industrialization of new vehicles, ensuring compliance with standards defined by Central Engineering and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaboration in resolving issues detected in manufacturing and quality, proposing technical solutions and contributing to customer protection.
• Participation in meetings and project dynamics with product engineering, manufacturing, and central teams, gaining knowledge of industrial processes and working methodologies.

🧩 Requirements

• Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or similar).
• Interest in industrial environments and manufacturing processes (stamping, sheet metal forming).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Paid internship
• Real experience in an industrial environment within automotive projects
• Participation in development and series production projects
• Support from a technical tutor

Descripción de la beca: Buscamos un/a estudiante en prácticas para incorporarse al equipo de Ingeniería de Procesos de Embutición, participando activamente en proyectos industriales vinculados a la integración de nuevos vehículos, la optimización de procesos productivos y la mejora de la performance industrial.

Lo que aprenderás: Participación en proyectos de industrialización y mejora continua dentro del perímetro de embutición:

• Colaboración en el desarrollo y la puesta en marcha del sistema industrial para la integración de nuevos vehículos en el proceso productivo de embutición.
• Apoyo en la fase de Anteproyecto, trabajando bajo una lógica Design to Cost, realizando el seguimiento de iniciativas de reducción de costes relacionadas con modificaciones producto/proceso.
• Participación en la definición de requisitos de calidad, coste y plazo en proyectos de industrialización.
• Soporte en la definición, validación e industrialización de nuevos vehículos, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares definidos por Ingeniería Central y los requisitos de fabricación.
• Colaboración en la resolución de problemas detectados en fabricación y calidad, proponiendo soluciones técnicas y contribuyendo a la protección cliente.
• Participación en reuniones y dinámicas de proyecto con equipos de ingeniería producto, fabricación y equipos centrales, adquiriendo conocimiento de los procesos y metodologías de trabajo industriales.

🧩 Requisitos

• Estar cursando o haber finalizado un Grado en Ingeniería (Industrial, Mecánica o similar).
• Interés por entornos industriales y procesos de fabricación (embutición, transformación de chapa).
• Capacidad de análisis y resolución de problemas.
