About the role

At Serunion, a catering company with more than 30 years of experience in the sector, we are looking for the best talent to join our centers in the area. If you have experience and are looking for an opportunity to showcase your skills, this offer is perfect for you!  

We are looking for a first-class cook for community dining to join one of our residences in  Montmeló. The person hired will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals for large groups, ensuring quality and food safety at all times.  

What you'll do

  • Develop preparations, ensure compliance with defined menus and technical data sheets, and implement good practices.
  • Prepare adapted menus and diets. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper organization and workflow.
  • Oversee the inventory of ingredients and materials, placing orders when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations – HACCP record.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the work area, and control the use of machinery, materials, and tools.
  • Train new team members in the company's cooking practices and procedures. 

     

What you'll get

  • Working hours: 40 hours per week.  
  • Schedule: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on long weeks (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday), and short weeks (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday).
  • Duration: vacation replacement (until approximately September).
  • Salary: approx. 1,615 euros gross per month, for 14 payments per year.

  • Demonstrable experience in the hospitality, catering, restaurant, or related sectors.

  • Teamwork.
  • Schedule availability.
