About the role

Multinational company in the industrial sector, located in Alcobendas, is looking for a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to provide support during the summer.

Mission / Position Objectives

Perform the necessary physical-chemical tests and analyses and keep the appropriate records to verify and maintain the quality of the finished product, intermediate products, raw materials, and packaging, in accordance with established specifications.

Randomly monitor the manufacturing process and the packaging and packing process.

What you'll do

Areas of Responsibility / Functions

1.      Inspection for the approval or rejection of raw materials, containers, and packaging used in the manufacture of products.

               Inspection of intermediate and finished products during manufacturing, carrying out all the physical-chemical tests and/or analyses established in the process instructions.

2.      Updating the quality records defined in the process instructions and specifications for raw materials and intermediate and finished products.

               - Recording 100% of the information required by the process instructions and/or the specifications for each material.

3.      Performing the chemical analyses and laboratory tests required by other areas from the quality control department.

               - Performing and delivering the results report for 100% of the analyses within a maximum of 3 additional business days beyond the time required for the analysis.

4.      Keeping the retention samples of each material organized and stored in the sample room during the process and in accordance with their specifications.

               - Laboratory free of samples unrelated to the processes being manufactured, without unused equipment or materials foreign to the laboratory.

5.      Environmental Management System (EMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) monitoring procedures and practices.

               - Comply with all EMS and QMS procedures and practices.

6.      Health and safety practices.

               - Zero accidents.

8.   Reject raw materials that do not meet specifications.

9.   Stop production processes when they do not meet their specifications, or when a equipment failure is detected that puts the product or the safety of personnel or equipment at risk.

10. Reject products that do not meet the established specifications.

There are two positions that, in addition to the detailed functions, are responsible for:

1.- Performing tests for product certification compliance (CE Marking, DIT, DAU, etc.).

2.- Document management / Audits (CE Marking, DIT, DAU, etc.).

3.- Performing equipment metrology (including calibrations, repairs, and commissioning of QC lab equipment in Alcobendas).

4.- Issuing and sending certificates of analysis and conformity for products manufactured at the different plants.

How you'll work

-Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Morning shift 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
