Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced TPH Consultant / Lead Business Analyst with deep functional expertise in
Temenos Payments Hub (TPH) to lead payments requirement discovery, solution design and functional
delivery across core banking and payments transformation programmes. The role owns the mapping of
business requirements to TPH product capability, authoring of functional specifications, and end-to-end
delivery from requirement gathering through configuration, testing and go-live. Acting as the payments
functional authority, the individual will bridge the bank's business owners, the Temenos development team
and delivery stakeholders, while mentoring junior analysts and safeguarding solution quality and STP

Key Responsibilities

Lead requirement gathering and Process-Led Workshops (PLWs) with the bank's payments business
owners, and articulate requirements clearly into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
• Identify gaps from the Business Requirement Document (BRD) and map those requirements to
Temenos Payments Hub (TPH) product capability, proposing and validating solutions for the gaps.
• Own the functional specification and provide walk-throughs to the technical / development team,
ensuring the solution provided is the best among alternatives.
• Define and configure TPH payment products, payment rules, validation, enrichment, screening, routing
and accounting workflows in line with business needs.
• Define integration requirements between TPH and Temenos Transact (T24) and surrounding systems
(channels, sanctions/AML, GL), covering integration touch points and patterns.
• Support the full delivery lifecycle - SIT, UAT, defect triage and resolution, data validation, cutover and
go-live - and assist the testing team in creating test cases.
• Champion straight-through-processing (STP) optimisation, payment repair and exception/SLA handling
across payment types and clearing schemes.
• Conduct end-user training for bank users and provide regular status reporting to the Project Manager
for governance and dashboard preparation.
• Identify delivery challenges early, recommend changes to the client and obtain their concurrence,
minimising defect leakage into production.
• Mentor and provide direction to junior/mid-level analysts, reviewing deliverables and upholding
documentation quality and Temenos best-practice standards.

Skill Requirements

The role requires strong functional command of the following payments areas within Temenos Payments
Hub:
• Payment schemes & rails - SWIFT (MT & MX/ISO 20022, CBPR+), SEPA / SEPA Instant,
RTGS/TARGET2, ACH, Faster Payments, FedNow and cross-border remittances.
• Payment types - high-value/low-volume and low-value/high-volume, instant/real-time, bulk & file-based
(e.g. payroll), consumer, corporate and interbank payments.
• Payment lifecycle - initiation & order management, validation, enrichment, repair/investigation queues,
routing, clearing & settlement and accounting postings.
• Message standards - ISO 20022 pacs/pain, SWIFT MT category 1/2/9, and clearing-specific formats;
understanding of the CBPR+ migration.
• Controls & compliance - sanctions/PEP/AML screening integration, STP optimisation, exception & SLA
management, value-dating and liquidity checks.
• Integration with Temenos Transact (T24) core - OFS, API/IRIS framework, AA contracts and GL
reconciliation, plus multi-entity/multi-currency/multi-jurisdiction setup.
Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of overall Business Analysis / functional consulting experience, with 5-8+ years
hands-on on Temenos Payments Hub (TPH), including 3+ years in a lead/principal BA role.
• In-depth knowledge of T24 Payments - Temenos Payments Hub (TPH) product setup,

Temenos functional certification(s) on TPH / Transact (R20 or later releases).
• Exposure to other Temenos solutions such as Infinity/Digital, FCM (Financial Crime Mitigation) and
Analytics.
• Experience with CBPR+ / ISO 20022 migration programmes and instant-payments (SEPA Instant,
FedNow, Faster Payments).
• Techno-functional awareness - OFS, API/IRIS integration, ESB/MQ and file-based interfaces for
