We are looking for a Catenary Engineer with specific experience in basic and construction design for trams and high-speed lines to join the Enterprise Capabilities offices in Madrid . This position offers a flexible hybrid work model , combining on-site and remote work.

The selected person will participate in catenary design activities for international railway projects .

OLE & Simulation is part of the Railway Systems department, a multidisciplinary team of over 50 people. Our office has a solid and extensive track record of delivering projects in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East, among other countries. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic transport projects, as part of a diverse and multicultural team within the Europe Enterprise Capabilities Centre (Poland/Spain) .

The candidate will have, among others, the following responsibilities:

Development of technical reports, plans, diagrams, structural design and load cases
Preparation of metal structure designs, cantoning schemes and grounding plans
Performing mechanical and geometric calculations of the catenary system
Ability to work independently with new design ranges
Development of technical specifications
Establishing interfaces with other disciplines and project scopes
Response to inquiries from the construction team
Quality control management

Previous experience in catenary projects in Spain
