About the role

Therefore, we are looking to add a Gerocultor/a to our residential centers in Valencia who shares our vocation for care and companionship, contributing to the physical and emotional well-being of older people.

What will your mission be?

Provide comprehensive care to residents, accompanying them with respect, empathy, and closeness in their day-to-day lives. Your work is essential to guarantee the comfort, health, and dignity of older people, collaborating closely with the center's healthcare and multidisciplinary team.

What you'll do

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Care for, accompany, and assist residents in their daily activities, always ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Collaborate in the development and support of therapies, following the instructions of healthcare staff and the direct care team.
  • Serve and assist with breakfasts, snacks, and other meals, as well as keeping residents' personal belongings clean and in good condition.
  • Accompany residents on walks and activities, and help them when going to bed or getting up, especially those with reduced mobility.
  • Perform personal hygiene for residents.
  • Carry out the necessary mobilizations to promote comfort and prevent complications derived from immobility.
  • Report any incidents or changes in the resident's condition to the nursing or supervision team.
