Responsible for ensuring the microbiological and physicochemical quality of water, controlled environments, and materials for internal use by carrying out sampling, analysis, and controls. You will help guarantee compliance with GMP and quality standards, ensuring the reliability of results, proper traceability of samples, and the analytical support needed for the company's processes.

What you'll do

  • You will carry out water sampling and quality control tests at the microbiological and physicochemical level.
  • You will perform microbiological sampling of classified rooms for environmental monitoring and the test for counting microorganisms in samples.
  • You will be in charge of carrying out the laboratory's activities: sample analysis, preparation of reagents, verifications, or tests assigned to you, following written control documents (microbiological analytical methods, control of the macroorganism archive, specifications, instructions, calibrations, and equipment instruction manuals), recording and electronically validating (if necessary) the results obtained.
  • You will interpret the results obtained in the quality controls carried out by the laboratory, as well as ensure their recording and proper traceability and the investigation of anomalous results or incidents.
  • You will perform the analysis of reagents and biological samples for internal use in the laboratory to ensure their traceability and material flows.
  • You will ensure that instruments, materials, and/or reagents meet the defined requirements, and you will also be responsible for maintaining proper order, maintenance, and cleanliness in the laboratory.
  • You will learn about and comply with existing Quality Standards (ISO, Internal Standards, GMP), Health and Safety, and Environmental regulations, as well as ensure their compliance.

What we're looking for

  • You have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory in the industrial sector and knowledge of GMP. (Essential).
  • You have experience in sampling, physicochemical analysis, and reagent preparation within the pharmaceutical industrial sector. (Essential).

Nice to have

  • You have knowledge of MS Office, and knowledge of the SAP program at a user level is desirable.
  • English level (desirable).

Education & certifications

  • You have a qualification in a Higher Degree in Analysis and Control or Clinical Diagnosis, Chemistry, Laboratory, Quality Control, or similar higher education.
