THE ROLE

We are looking for university students or recent graduates who are seeking real work experience, professional internships, or an internship located at our Depots in Madrid.

As a Tourism & Operations Intern (intern), you will represent our brand in person, providing our guests with top-notch customer service as they begin and end unforgettable road trips. Do you enjoy challenges, meeting new people, and dynamic environments? Then this position could be your next step!

What you'll do

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Front-office activities:

  • Customer service and sales: manage check-ins and check-outs, register guests, process payments, explain campervan features, terms and conditions, and upsell extras for the road trip.

Back-office activities:

  • Operations management: align bookings with available campervans, verify and prepare campers and extras/kits for the road trip.
  • Quality control: keep campervans in optimal condition, identify and respond to maintenance or repair needs.
  • Support activities: assist the team in tracking existing stock, coordinating the campervan fleet, and resolving operational issues.

What we're looking for

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field and are looking for an internship;
  • You speak English fluently, have a work permit, and hold a valid driver's license (mandatory);
  • You enjoy international environments and learning about new cultures;
  • You have a natural talent for connecting with people and a strong customer service orientation;
  • You have a problem-solving mindset, enjoy creating solutions, and are comfortable getting your hands dirty when needed.

What you'll get

THE INDIE COMMITMENT

  • All internships are paid; the amount depends on the location, country, and region (accommodation is not included);
  • Online and on-the-job training to develop skills relevant to your growth: guest service, customer service, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, organization, time management, fleet coordination, supply management, and logistics;
  • International opportunities and the possibility of joining Indie Campers full-time after the internship.
