We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) Team Lead to join us at our head offices in Madrid. Below, we share all the details of the role:

Your mission will be:

  • The Account Manager Team Leader leads and develops a team of managers for clients in the Hospitality segment at Makro, ensuring the correct execution of the Key Accounts commercial model and the achievement of sales, profitability, and client development objectives.
  • The position aims to ensure close and effective team management, driving commercial excellence, account profitability, and the proper implementation of the value proposition for customers in the HORECA channel.
  • To do so, knowledge of the foodservice business and the sector's profitability drivers is required, as well as experience in leading commercial teams, developing people, and managing key accounts.

What you'll do

  • Lead and develop the Key Account Manager team, ensuring their alignment with the company's commercial strategy.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the sales model for Key Accounts in the foodservice and HORECA channels.
  • Ensure the execution of the commercial system and compliance with the company's processes and policies.
  • Develop the account managers through continuous coaching, target monitoring, and field accompaniment.
  • Define, together with each account manager, the strategy and the annual business plan for the accounts in their portfolio.

What are we looking for in you?

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in key account management.
