Employee Benefits Consulting Internship

The MERCER training project aims to ensure that external academic internships carried out by students in the company allow them to apply the knowledge acquired in their education and to acquire professional skills.

The main objective of these internships is the integration of students into the professional environment through the development of supervised practical activities that enable the development of technical and transversal skills.

Benefits aims to provide agile and effective solutions to small and medium-sized companies in the areas of personal insurance (life, health, and accident), international mobility, and flexible compensation, eBenefits at the Madrid office, for an internship that will be mainly focused on benefits management consulting and total compensation for our clients.

You will be responsible for, under the supervision of the tutor,:

• Supporting the preparation of periodic claims reports.
• Collaborating in the collection of data for policy renewals.
• Collecting amounts of invoices pending issuance or payment for inclusion in the budget and general payment tracking.
• Reviewing insurer reports and their alignment with client-provided data, under supervision.
• Participating in the analysis of renewal proposal files by the insurer for validation.
• Participating in the preparation of premium comparisons between different periods.
• Collecting policy documentation for presentation to the client.
• Supporting the preparation of the annual report on renewals.
• Collecting specific information corresponding to each of the countries included in the insurance program.
• Providing advice to clients on group insurance, Life, Accident, and Health matters, under the supervision of the tutor.
• Supporting senior consultants responsible for advising on group insurance and flexible compensation.
• Identifying needs among existing clients to facilitate new business development in accordance with the firm's guidelines, policies, and quality standards to achieve profitability and growth results across the different Business Lines.
• Participating in other Health, Wealth, and Career projects.
• Participating in meetings with clients and the different countries involved.

• Have completed studies (any degree in Business Administration, HR, etc.).
• Be immediately available for a full-time position.

El objetivo principal de las mismas es la integración de los estudiantes en el entorno profesional a través del desarrollo de actividades prácticas supervisadas que permitan el desarrollo de competencias técnicas y transversales.

Benefits tiene como objetivo proveer de soluciones ágiles y efectivas a pequeñas y medianas empresas en los ámbitos de los seguros personales (vida, salud, ahorro y accidentes), la movilidad internacional, y la retribución flexible, eBenefits en la oficina de Madrid para hacer prácticas, que estará focalizada principalmente en la consultoría de gestión de beneficios y compensación total de nuestros clientes.

Contaremos contigo para que, bajo la supervisión del/ de la Tutor/a puedas:

• Apoyo en la elaboración de informes periódicos sobre siniestralidad.
• Colaboración en la recopilación de datos para la renovación de pólizas.
• Recopilación de importes de facturas pendientes de emisión o pago de la anualidad anterior para su inclusión en budget y seguimiento general de pagos.
• Revisión de informes de aseguradora y su adecuación a los datos comunicados por el cliente, bajo supervisión.
• Participación en el análisis de ficheros de propuestas de renovación por parte de la aseguradora para su validación.
• Participación en la elaboración de comparativas de primas entre diferentes periodos.
• Recopilación de documentación de pólizas para la presentación al cliente.
• Apoyo en la elaboración del informe anual sobre renovaciones.
• Recopilación de información concreta correspondiente a cada uno de los países que forman parte del programa de seguros.
• Prestar asesoramiento a clientes en materia de seguros colectivos, Vida, Accidentes y Salud, bajo la supervisión del tutor.
• Soporte a los consultores senior responsables del asesoramiento en seguros colectivos y en retribución flexible.
• Captación de necesidades en clientes existentes para facilitar el desarrollo de nuevo negocio conforme a las directrices, políticas y estándares de calidad de la firma para lograr la consecución de los resultados de rentabilidad y crecimiento de las diferentes Líneas de Negocio.
• Participación en otros proyectos de Health, Wealth y Career.
• Participación en reuniones con cliente y los diferentes países involucrados.
