Job Description



The Applied Mechanics Department specializes in the mechanical behavior of materials, the mechanical behavior of machinery, industrial structures, mechanical simulation and modeling techniques, and experimental mechanical characterization techniques.
You will have the opportunity to carry out:
- Teaching Activities:
Training engineering students, working within a team dedicated to the continuous improvement of your activities, staying up-to-date in your area of specialization and in educational methodologies.
These teaching activities will fall under the scope of applied mechanics: mechanical physics, dynamics, strength of materials, structures, and finite elements.
- Research and Transfer Activities:
Developing research and transfer projects, actively participating in a team where you will be involved in the various phases of the project and in defining its strategy.

El Área de Mecánica Aplicada se especializa en el comportamiento mecánico de materiales, el comportamiento mecánico de máquinas, las construcciones industriales, las técnicas de simulación y modelización mecánicas y las técnicas experimentales de caracterización mecánica.
Tendrás la oportunidad de realizar:
- Actividades de Docencia:
Formando a estudiantes de Ingeniería, participando en un equipo con el que trabajarás en la mejora continua de tu actividad, manteniéndote al día en tu área de especialización y en metodologías educativas.
Dichas actividades de docencia estarán englobadas dentro del ámbito de la mecánica aplicada: física mecánica, dinámica, resistencia de materiales, estructuras y elementos finitos.
- Actividades de Investigación y Transferencia:
Desarrollando proyectos de Investigación y Transferencia, siendo parte activa de un equipo con el que te involucrarás en las diferentes fases del proyecto y en la definición de su estrategia.
