About the role

Are you passionate about wine and want to be part of one of the most exciting times of the year at a winery? We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join immediately and participate in both the harvest campaign and the Christmas campaign, working alongside the Enology and Quality team in a dynamic, professional environment with great learning opportunities.

Furthermore, if you demonstrate autonomy, commitment, and good performance, there is a real possibility of continuing as part of the team once the campaign ends.

What you'll do

  • Daily collection of grape, must, and tank samples

  • Performance of basic analyses: pH, total and volatile acidity, probable alcohol level, SO₂, and fermentation temperature.

  • Daily monitoring of fermentations through density and temperature controls.

  • Recording and updating of analytical results in systems and control sheets.

  • Operation of laboratory equipment such as pH meters, densimeters, and autoanalyzers (experience with FOSS or Y15 is highly valued).

  • Preparation of reagents and minor equipment calibrations.

  • Periodic sampling from tanks and barrels.

  • Quality controls of finished wines and batches prepared for shipping or bottling.

  • Basic physicochemical and microbiological analyses.

  • Analytical verifications prior to bottling according to internal protocols.

  • Document management, traceability, and archiving of results.

How you'll work

  • Until the start of the harvest: from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

  • Regular schedule: from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

  • During certain moments of the harvest: from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

  • Availability to work some Saturdays during the campaign when production requires it.

What are we looking for?

  • Vocational training in Laboratory, Enology, Chemistry, Biology, or similar.

  • Previous experience in wineries or harvest campaigns will be highly valued.

  • We also consider recently graduated profiles with laboratory internships.

  • Basic knowledge of physicochemical analyses.

  • Handling of analytical equipment (pH meter, densimeter, autoanalyzers).

  • Experience with FOSS or Y15 equipment is a plus.

  • Interest or experience in control systems, data recording, and traceability.

  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle to commute to Laguardia.
