About the role
From Nortegas Selección we are recruiting for one of our client companies a: Refrigeration Technician for cooling and air conditioning repairs.
We are looking for a profile with a proactive attitude specialized in the assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of refrigeration systems for a company specialized in the design and installation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment near Santiago de Compostela.
What you'll do
- Diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment and air conditioning systems.
- Repair of cold storage rooms, air conditioning units, heat pumps, and refrigeration machinery.
- Detection of leaks, refrigerant charging, and verification of the refrigeration circuit operation.
- Replacement and installation of components.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of installations.
- Interpretation of electrical and refrigeration schematics.
- Preparation of technical reports and communication of incidents.
- Equipment checking.

Requirements
- Training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Maintenance, or Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Fluorinated Gas Handling Certificate.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, electricity, and thermodynamics.
- At least 5 years of previous experience in repairing refrigeration or air conditioning equipment.
- Autonomy, diagnostic skills, and customer orientation.
- Ability to learn and participate in highly complex installation projects.
- Valid driver's license.

- Carné de conducir.
