Production Planning Specialist

Job Description

Mission

Plan and coordinate the manufacturing of Persán's product lines, ensuring stock levels remain aligned with the Company's needs and preventing any risk of customer service failure.

Responsibilities

Update the previous day's production data in Excel to assess performance and take appropriate actions.
Review and analyze new customer orders as well as available stock.
Update the packaging sequence.
Review the needs of customers who provide commercial sales forecasts and assess their impact on production planning.
Plan and sequence the packaging lines.
Prepare the packaging schedule.
Request the necessary quantities to be manufactured by subcontractors.
Monitor the Service Level.
Cooperate with the Procurement Department to ensure compliance with the planned sequence (material arrivals, allocations, etc.).
Prepare the packaging program in coordination with the Manufacturing Manager.
Ensure, together with the Manufacturing Department, that production and packaging levels meet the planned requirements at the expected time.
Collaborate with the Manufacturing and Packaging Departments to prepare the packaging program, by consensus and according to agreed allocations.
Develop packaging and manufacturing plans for subcontractors to meet Persán's internal and external demand.
Work with the Manufacturing and Packaging Departments to mitigate production constraints (minimum batch sizes, bulk storage, reactor availability, etc.).
Collaborate with the Procurement Department to ensure compliance with promotions and new product launches.
Support and resolve Technical Non‑Conformities together with the Quality Department.
Comply with safety regulations, use protective equipment, tools, and machinery appropriately, and report any situation that may pose a risk to personal or team safety.
