About the role

At Primark we love doing things our own way, and that's how we continue to grow and open new stores all over the world. We offer our customers the latest fashion at affordable prices, and we do it with passion, closeness, and commitment. If you identify with these values, join Primark as an Assistant Manager.

Because you have the talent to lead teams and maximise results, this is your opportunity to make a real impact as an Assistant Manager.

What you'll do

As an Assistant Manager, you will work hand in hand with the Store Manager to lead the team and guarantee an exceptional shopping experience in the store. You will be responsible for driving sales and optimising commercial performance through strategic planning and flawless execution across all areas.

You will ensure stock is always available and well managed to meet customer needs, while also overseeing the visual presentation of products to create an attractive environment. In addition, you will collaborate on task and schedule planning to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time. In the Store Manager's absence, you will take on their role, effectively leading the store's day-to-day operations.

When it comes to the team, you will lead by example. You will train, motivate, and develop your Primark colleagues to reach their full potential, fostering a culture of learning, recognition, and continuous improvement. You will also ensure compliance with policies and procedures, looking after safety and promoting ethical and sustainable values within the Primark Cares framework.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in team management, especially in fast-paced, high-volume environments. We want people who can inspire, motivate, and develop talent, fostering a culture of commitment and high performance.

Your commercial vision will be key, along with the ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and make strategic decisions to exceed sales targets. It is important that you have excellent organisational and planning skills, and that you can manage complex situations effectively with a proactive and resilient attitude.

As a growing company, our needs are spread throughout the country, and we want our teams to know a variety of business units to enhance their professional progression. Therefore, an indispensable requirement will be that you provide geographical availability.

It will be important to have a good level of English and we will also value other languages you know, including sign language. Don't forget to tell us, as it will help us to offer great service to the customer.

Nice to have

We also value the ability to communicate clearly and inspiringly, building positive relationships with the team and ensuring a constant flow of information. Previous experience in a similar role will be essential.

For this position, we will positively value completion of university studies in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Marketing and Market Research, Commerce and Marketing, an MBA (or similar).

Internal colleagues must register their application by 02/07/2026.

What you'll get

People are at the center of everything we do, so it is essential that we provide you with the right environment for you to give your best. That is why we offer you a range of benefits that put you first:

• Opportunities for professional development at the national and international level in a continuously expanding company.

• Ongoing training in various areas.

• Possibility of supporting new openings in different locations.

• Employee discount to purchase products from our fabulous collections.

How you'll work

• Our schedules average 5 days per week with continuous shifts.

About the company & team

Just like our fashion, our culture adapts to each individual. We strive to create an inclusive workplace where people can be themselves, access opportunities, and thrive together.
