From the Quirónsalud private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for a Nursing Assistant for the NICU at Quirónsalud San José Hospital, located at Calle de Cartagena, 111, Chamartín, Madrid.

What will your mission be?

Provide auxiliary care to newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), contributing to their well-being, safety, and comfort during the care process. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team in the comprehensive care of neonatal patients and their families, ensuring compliance with the center's procedures and quality standards.

What you'll do

What will be your functions and responsibilities?

Provide basic hygiene, comfort, and well-being care to newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Collaborate with the nursing team in the comprehensive care of neonatal patients, ensuring safe and high-quality assistance.

Prepare, restock, and maintain the medical supplies and equipment necessary for the proper functioning of the unit.

Assist in the reception, mobilization, and transfer of patients, following the instructions of healthcare personnel.

Apply hygiene, isolation, and infection prevention measures in accordance with established protocols.

Ensure the proper conditioning of the newborn's environment, promoting a safe, calm, and comfortable setting.

Participate in accompanying and supporting families during the care process, fostering the maternal-paternal bond.

Perform inventory control, supply restocking, and storage organization tasks, ensuring the availability of resources needed for care activities.

Requirements

Vocational training degree (Intermediate Level) in Nursing Assistant Care or equivalent.

Training in Neonatology is valued.
