From Quirónsalud's private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for a Registered Nurse for Hospitalization at Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud, located at Calle Estambul, 30, 28922 Alcorcón, Madrid.

What will your mission be?

Provide comprehensive care to the hospitalized patient, promoting health education, in coordination with the rest of the team members, applying the knowledge specific to their category and following the guidelines set by the center based on the care protocols of each area, contributing to offering a service of excellent quality.

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

Identify the patient, whenever the patient's condition allows it, confirming first name, surname, and date of birth and checking them against the identification bracelet.

Show perseverance and interest in the monitoring and control of the patient, informing them of how their care will proceed and on any other matter that may be required, respecting the standards of excellent quality care; as well as making the appropriate notes in the patient's medical record.

Stay up to date on innovations in the nursing field and pursue professional growth and development.

Function as a role model, helping to organize and supervising nursing assistants when appropriate.

Properly monitor the patient's clinical condition regarding medication, diet, and physical activities.

Administer treatment orally, rectally, subcutaneously, intramuscularly, and intravenously to the hospitalized patient following the established procedure.

Ensure the correct preparation of patients for surgical interventions, assisting with examinations and treatments.

Organize the patient's treatment and coordinate their discharge when they are released according to the established procedure.

Provide proper assistance to the physician as a scrub nurse regarding the delivery of necessary instruments.
