From Quirónsalud private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for Nurses for the Operating Room area.

What will your mission be?

You will provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after the surgical procedure, promoting health education, in coordination with the rest of the team members, applying the knowledge specific to your role and following the guidelines established by the center based on the area's care protocols, contributing to offering excellent quality service.

What will be your functions and responsibilities?

You will be responsible for anticipating all surgical needs, verifying the availability of specific instruments, as well as prostheses to be implanted if required.

You will prepare the expired gas filter, connect it to the capnograph within its packaging, the anesthesia suction device with its tubing and probe, and check their proper functioning.

You will check the proper condition of the defibrillators, if applicable, and in case of failure, notify the supervisor and replace any non-operational device during the shift.

You will prepare the necessary material for each surgical procedure, as well as assist the medical team during interventions according to the protocols established for each surgical specialty.

You will collect the instruments and materials at the end of the intervention.

You will report any incident during the intervention to the unit supervisor.

You will perform the count of any material introduced into the patient.

If there is a bone bank or grafts, you will verify the need and ensure optimal conditions for their use, as well as their prior treatment for proper handling, custody, and recording of biological samples, reporting the time of extraction and the method of preservation.

You will perform proper hand hygiene.

Descripción de la oferta

Desde los hospitales privados de Quirónsalud en Madrid, estamos buscando Enfermeros/as para el área de Quirófano.

¿Cuáles será tu misión?

Proporcionarás una atención integral al paciente antes, durante y después del acto quirúrgico, promoviendo la educación para la salud, en coordinación con el resto de los miembros del equipo, aplicando los conocimientos propios de su categoría y siguiendo las directrices marcadas por el centro en base a los protocolos asistenciales del área, contribuyendo a ofrecer un servicio de excelente calidad.

¿Cuáles serán tus funciones y responsabilidades?

Te responsabilizarás de prever todas las necesidades de la cirugía. Verificando la disposición de instrumental específico, así como de prótesis a implantar si precisa.

Prepararás el filtro de gases espirados, conectado al capnógrafo dentro de su envase, el aspirador de anestesia con la tubuladura y sonda y comprobar su correcto funcionamiento.

Comprobarás el correcto estado de los desfibriladores, si aplica, y en caso de fallo notificar al mando y cambiar por un respirador que no esté operativo en el turno.

Prepararás el material necesario para cada procedimiento quirúrgico, así como asistir al equipo médico en las intervenciones de acuerdo con los protocolos establecidos por cada especialidad médico-quirúrgica.

Recogerás el instrumental y material al finalizar la intervención.

Informarás al/a la responsable de la unidad sobre cualquier incidencia durante la intervención.

Realizarás del recuento de cualquier material que se introduzca en el paciente.

Si hay banco de hueso o injertos, verificarás la necesidad y se encargará de comprobar las condiciones óptimas del mismo para ser utilizado, así como su tratamiento previo para correcto manejo, custodia y registro de muestras biológicas, informando del momento de extracción, del modo de conservación.

Realizarás una adecuada higiene de manos.
