From Quirónsalud's private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for a Hospital Pharmacist to join our Quironsalud Pozuelo University Hospital.

What will your mission be?

Contributing to improving patient health through specialized pharmaceutical care that adds value to the care process and promotes and enables the effective, safe, and efficient use of medications within a framework of comprehensive and continuous care.

What you'll do

What will your main duties and responsibilities be?

You will assume technical responsibility for the actions and procedures carried out by the pharmacy service

You will manage medication purchases, ensuring supply according to established stock levels: processing purchase orders, contacting and following up on orders with suppliers, resolving issues, etc.

You will ensure that patients receive the most effective and appropriate medications, at the right time, dose, and form, as well as quality controls, storage, and safety of medications and drugs

You will oversee the preparation of medications according to prescriptions

You will be responsible for training pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in training

Participating in hospital committees as an expert, in order to evaluate and select medications, establish protocols, regulations, and other actions related to the efficacy, safety, and appropriateness of medication use in the Hospital

You will also participate in clinical trials and in the implementation of Quality Control mechanisms
