Vacancy: MIDWIFE Location: Hospital Universitario Infanta Elena de Valdemoro.

Functions:

Carry out appropriate assessments during the delivery process, postpartum, and newborn care to ensure safe and quality follow-up. Identify warning signs and communicate appropriately with the medical professional.

Promote the concept of respectful birth, continuously monitor maternal and fetal safety, and inform the woman and her partner about possible changes that may occur during the process.

Provide tools and resources to the woman for assistance during labor and postpartum, following her preferences while maintaining safety standards in care.

Explain the delivery protocol to the patient and her partner in an individualized manner, as well as the analgesic and positioning options available.

Show consistency and interest in the follow-up and monitoring of the patient and newborns, informing them of how care will proceed and any other matters as required, respecting the standards of excellent healthcare.

Requirements:

Be a qualified midwife and be up to date with CODEM fees.

Vacante: MATRONA / MATRÓNUbicación: Hospitale Universitarios Infanta Elena de Valdemoro.

Funciones:

Realizar las valoraciones adecuadas durante el proceso de parto, puerperio y atención del/de la recién nacido/a para mantener un seguimiento seguro y de calidad. Identificación de signos de alarma y comunicación adecuada al/a laprofesional médico.

Promover el concepto de parto respetado, analizar en todo momento la seguridad maternofilial e informar a la mujer y su pareja sobre los posibles cambios que puedan surgir durante el proceso.

Proporcionar herramientas y recursos a la mujer para una asistencia al proceso de parto y puerperio siguiendo sus preferencias y manteniendo la seguridad asistencial.

Explicar a la paciente y pareja el protocolo del parto de forma individualizada, así como las posibilidades analgésicas y posicionales.

Mostrar constancia e interés en el seguimiento y control de la paciente y de los recién nacidos, informando de cómo se procederá en su asistencia y sobre cualquier otro asunto que se requiera, respetando los estándares de unos cuidados asistenciales de excelente calidad.

Requisitos:

Ser Matrón o Matrona y estar al corriente de pago del CODEM.
