Position: ICU and Operating Room Nurse.

Location: Quirónsalud Madrid Hospitals.

What will your mission be?

Provide comprehensive patient care, promoting health education and ensuring safe, high-quality assistance, in coordination with the rest of the multidisciplinary team and following the care protocols established in each area.

What you'll do

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

OPERATING ROOM

  • You will prepare the expired gas filter connected to the capnograph, the anesthesia suction unit with its tubing and probe, checking that they work correctly.
  • You will verify the proper condition of the defibrillators and other electromedical equipment required for surgical activity.
  • You will prepare the instruments and materials required for each surgical procedure.
  • You will assist the medical team during procedures, following the protocols established for each specialty.
  • You will collect and check the instruments and materials at the end of each procedure.

ICU

  • You will administer treatments orally, rectally, subcutaneously, intramuscularly, and intravenously according to medical prescription and established protocols.
  • You will take part in preparing and monitoring patients undergoing diagnostic or surgical procedures.
  • You will coordinate the care plan and patient discharge preparation when applicable.
  • You will make the relevant clinical records and notes in the medical record.
  • You will actively collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
